I am already flying high with excitement for next year!
First there is the Boston Marathon, but that is not all. Two weeks later I will be heading over to my favorite coast to run the Big Sur Marathon.
B2B HERE I COME!
It is something that I have wanted to do since I first heard about it before I ran my first marathon. I thought running two marathons right after each other sounded so exciting when I had not even run one yet. I swore that I would do B2B when I finally ran Boston. Admittedly after racing marathons as close together as three weeks apart, some of the excitement of back to back marathons has been eliminated and I am not that worried about two weeks. This is especially true because I don’t plan on racing Big Sur either. It may be a good thing because…
I WILL BE A SAN FRANCISCO MARATHON AMBASSADOR FOR THE 2013 SAN FRANCISCO MARATHON ON JUNE 16, 2013! Sorry about the caps in this post. I am just a little excited. Now I will have increasingly opportunities to wax poetic about my love for the SF Marathon and try to get you to run the race. Not that I wasn’t already doing that.
A little too much looking forward and not enough enjoying the current moment for your taste in this post. I can assure you I have been flying high recently too.
Literally.
I am excited to report that I am starting to fly on the roads again too. Only this time not literally. What I mean is finally sub8 minute miles are starting to feel easy again.
